Since then, no matter how the dynasties in the world changed, this system has been used. Although the name has changed, it can still be called the reform and extension of the county system. For example, the provinces, cities and counties now implemented can also be regarded as the embodiment of the "county system".
When this system developed to the Ming Dynasty, Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang changed it to: province (chief secretary), state and county, and finally it was used, almost equivalent to the province, district and county we are familiar with now. A Xin Sen Miao Yan introduced the administrative divisions of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty in The House of Zhou Xun: History of Guangxi: Regional History of Twelve States under the Chief Secretary of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty.
In the Ming Dynasty, the Chief Secretary of Guangxi was divided into twelve states and eight states (Qinbei Defence Zone was an administrative region of Guangdong at that time, so it was not included in this article).

Eight states, namely: Jiangzhou, Sicheng, Lizhou, Fengyi, Wu Xiang, Du Kang, Siling and Longzhou.
So, what happened here in the Qing Dynasty?
In the Qing Dynasty, administrative divisions were more streamlined and some areas merged. The reason is the change of policy, which has implemented a certain degree of reform in the western region. At the same time, with the progress of the times, some different organizational systems have been added, such as departments and business divisions.
This was also determined by the social and political environment at that time. From the time of Kanggan, the twelve states and eight states in the Ming Dynasty were transformed into eleven states and one state, and by the end of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1898), they were integrated into eleven states, two states and two halls. Over the past 100 years, it has undergone a series of changes and many stories.
Let's talk about the geographical division in the late Guangxu period: eleven states, two states and two halls.
The 1 1 states are Guilin, Liuzhou, Qingyuan, Pingle, Wuzhou, Zhou Xun, Nanning, Taiping, Siming, Sien and Zhen 'an.

Surrender zhili state, lead a county and a soil state, Zhenbian county, Xialeitu state.
Zhili Prefecture of Yulin governs Bobai County, Beiliu County, Luchuan County and Xingye County.
The second hall, namely Shangsi Zhili Hall and Baise Zhili Hall, was also a separate organizational system in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. In the current words, it is upgraded to the provincial administration, and the government is at the same level.
Think about zhili hall, toast alone, toast dynamically,
Baise Zhili Hall has jurisdiction over one county, one state, one soil county, one toast, Enlong county, enyang prefecture, Shanglintu county and Wang Xia toast.
The establishment of these areas directly affected the administrative divisions during the Republic of China. At the same time, some of them have been circulating. At present, 14 areas and counties and cities in Guangxi are basically inherited from here, which has certain origins.
Like many places, some people still use these old administrative titles, circulating some historical stories of these places. In the middle of the Republic of China, the administrative divisions of Guangxi were more complicated and changeable, and the story was more changeable, so I wrote another one.
Because of the changes and development of society, this history has gradually become very vague. After several generations, no one has mentioned it. It is too far away from most people's lives, and this knowledge is not needed in real life. The information mentioned here by Miao Yan, the capital of Zhou Xun, is only as a kind of knowledge and a historical story. In the final analysis, tracing the source is something inherent in China people's bones.
Of course, from another perspective, understanding local culture and understanding local culture can also be part of leisure time. Then, what kind of historical stories do these historical governments, states, counties and halls have in the process of developing to the present provinces, cities and counties?
As the saying goes:
Yesterday's story has been rummaged through,
Today is more or less forgotten.
If you want to know what happened in the Spring and Autumn Period,
Only read more old books!
In the future, Zhou Xun Municipal Government, O Xinsen Miao Yan, will update it slowly.
Thank you for your attention!
