Identifying geological age is not the most important content of archaeology. Archaeological age can be divided into two parts-prehistoric period and historical period. Prehistory is an era without words, and there is no literature to verify it, so its dating mainly depends on scientific and technological means, which has been answered in detail upstairs. Historical periods can be textual researched, and this part needs the help of documents and the shape and inscription of unearthed objects to determine the age. The soil must be piled up layer by layer, so the age of the soil we dug first is relatively late, and the earlier we go down, this is what archaeology calls stratigraphy. This is also one of the basis for judging the relationship. The other basis is called typology, which is similar to plant taxonomy, that is, classifying and ordering the same kind of utensils.
