The development of history

Formerly known as Boluo and Tun. In the first year of Qianlong (1736), the inspection department of Boluo Hetun was established, and in the second year of Xuantong (19 10), the inspection department of Longhua County was established in Boluo Hetun, Guojiatun and Zhang Sanying. Longhua is located in the northern mountainous area of Hebei Province. The mountainous area is ancient, similar to hills, and the river valley is flat, especially the river valleys on both sides of the Yixun River are relatively wide. The ground is flat and the soil is fertile. After the completion of Miaogong Reservoir, the rice grains on both banks are fragrant and criss-crossed. Except for river valleys and narrow Pingchuan, most of the county is low mountains and hills, which is known as "eight mountains, one water and one field". The remaining Yanshan vein extends obliquely from northwest to southeast in this county, forming a terrain with high northwest and low southeast. The average elevation of the county is 750 meters. There are mainly the Yanshan Mountains and other veins in the territory, and the seven-and-nine-stretch heaped-up mountains in the eastern county have become the dividing line between the county and Harqin Banner in Inner Mongolia. The highest peak is located in Aobao Mountain at the junction of Weichang County in the north, with an altitude of 1852 meters.

The main rivers in the county are distributed in parallel from north to south. From west to east are Luanhe River, Imatu River, Yixun River and Parrot River. Yimatu River joins Yixun River in the southwest of Longhua Town, and Parrot River joins Wulie River near Guanzhong County, becoming another tributary of Luanhe River.
