Shicheng County belongs to Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, which is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province and the northeast of Ganzhou. Shicheng has been the only place for Jiangxi to enter western Fujian and eastern Guangdong since ancient times, and is known as the thoroughfare of Fujian and Guangdong. Shicheng is named for its "mountainous and stony, towering like a city".

The total area of the county is 65,438+0,567 square kilometers. Shicheng County has jurisdiction over six towns and five townships: Qinjiang Town, Komatsu Town, Pingshan Town, hengjiang town Town, Gaotian Town, Ganjiangyuan Town, Mulan Township, fengshan town Township, Judas Township, Longgang Township and Zhukeng Township, and the county government is located in Qinjiang Town.

In the first year of Song Taizong Taiping Xingguo (976), the soldiers in the south of the Yangtze River were divided into two ways, and Zhou Jun was changed to Ganzhou, which belonged to Jiangxi West Road and Shicheng was Ganzhou.

In the 23rd year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty (1 153), Qianzhou was renamed Ganzhou, and Shicheng belonged to Ganzhou.

In the 14th year of Yuan Dynasty (1277), Ganzhou Prefecture was changed to the general administration of Ganzhou Road, and Shicheng still belonged to Ganzhou.

In the second year of Yuan Zhen (1296), Ganzhou changed its government to Taoism, and Shicheng belonged to Ganzhou Road.

In the 25th year of Yuan Dynasty (1365), Ganzhou was rebuilt as the government, and Shicheng belonged to Ganzhou government until the reign of Qing Qianlong.

In the 19th year of Qianlong (1754), Ningdu was promoted to Zhili Prefecture, and Shicheng was placed under Ningdu Prefecture until the 3rd year of Qing Dynasty (19 1 1).

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), the Republic of China was founded. Fu Fei and Shicheng belonged to Jiangxi Province, and later returned to Gannan Road.
