Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County is an autonomous county in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, People's Republic of China (PRC). East longitude 102 07'- 103 46', north latitude 36 3 1'-37 55'. The counties and cities bordering it are Yongdeng County in the south, Jingtai County in the east, Liangzhou District and Gulang County in Wuwei City in the north, Sunan County in the northwest and Menyuan County, Huzhu County and Ledu County in Qinghai Province in the west. I. Basic information
Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County is located in the southeast of Wuwei City, Gansu Province, at the eastern end of Qilian Mountain, adjacent to Jingtai County in the east, Yongdeng County in the south, Liangzhou District and Gulang County in the north, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County in the northwest, and Menyuan, Huzhu and Ledu counties in Qinghai Province in the west. Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway and National Highway 3 12 run through the north and south. Wushaoling, where mountains and traffic lines meet, is the gateway to the east and west, controlling the throat of Hexi, with dangerous terrain, and is known as the "gateway to Hexi Corridor". Tianzhu, named after Tang Tian Temple (the resident of Paradise Township) and Zhu Gong Temple (in Dongdatan Township), is the first minority autonomous county named by Premier Zhou Enlai on 1955 after the founding of the Republic. Tianzhu has a long history and is a Neolithic racecourse cultural site unearthed in Luojiawan and Xiaogou, Dongping Township, southwest of the county. It means that human beings lived here 4000 years ago. With the development of society, the administrative divisions of Tianzhu have changed. 1936 The Tibetan area of Yongdeng County was changed to Tianzhu Township, 1938 Tianzhu Township was changed to fourth area of Yongdeng County, and 1940 it was restored to Tianzhu Township. 1949 became Tianzhu District of Yongdeng County after liberation, 1950 established Tianzhu Autonomous Region (county level) on May 6th. 1955 07 19 With the approval of the State Council, Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous Region was changed into Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, which belongs to Zhangye area 196 1 year. Tianzhu Tibetan people practiced tribal system in history, and it was called "Cuowa" in Tibetan. When Tianzhu Township 1936 was founded, there were 36 families and 14 monasteries.
