What districts are there in Pudong?
Pudong is not divided into districts. Pudong is a sub-provincial city in Shanghai. There is no division under it, only streets and towns.

Pudong covers the area from the Huangpu River to the Yangtze River estuary in the east, bordering Fengxian District and Minhang District in the southwest, facing Xuhui District, Huangpu District, Hongkou District, Yangpu District and Baoshan District in the west, and facing Chongming District in the northeast across the Yangtze River.

Changes of administrative divisions in Pudong;

With the expansion of city scale, some traditional towns (such as Qinyang Town and Luchaogang Town) are gradually abolished or merged into existing streets or towns. 1997, Dongcheng Town was merged into Chuansha Town. In July, Puxing Road Street was established. In 2000, Yanqiao Town was merged into Hua Mu Town; Lingqiao Town merged into Gao Qiao Town; Yangyuan Town was merged into gaodong town; Cancel Gulu Town and Lugong Town and set up Cao Lu Town; Zhang Qiao town merged into jinqiao town. 200 1, Qinyang Town merged into Hua Mu Town; Sunqiao town and Liuli towns merged into Zhangjiang Town. On June 22nd, Donggou Town was renamed as Gaoxing Town. In 2005, Jichang Town and Chuansha Town were abolished and Chuansha New Town was established.

Pudong New Area currently governs 12 streets and 24 towns. Most streets are set up along the Huangpu River in the north of Pudong New Area. Shenzhen-Hong Kong Street was originally the only street in Nanhui area in the south of Pudong New Area, but it was merged into Nanhui New City on 20 12, and all the streets are located in the north of Pudong New Area so far.
