Changgangpo Aqueduct is located in luoping town, luoding city, about 1 huali from the town center. Known as the "Red Flag Canal in Guangdong", it is known as "Red Flag Canal in the north and Changgangpo in the south".
In 1960s and 1970s, the backwardness of domestic water conservancy facilities directly affected the development of rural areas. In 2009, the Office of the Leading Group for the Third National Cultural Relics Survey in the State Council selected 165 important discoveries from nearly 500,000 immovable cultural relics newly discovered in China, among which Guangdong Province selected 10. Changgangpo aqueduct was selected as a major new discovery in the third national cultural relics survey in 2009 because of its important value and historical significance.

2011February, Liu Min, deputy director of the Water Resources Department, inspected Changgangpo Aqueduct and instructed Luoding to polish the water conservancy business card of Changgangpo Aqueduct, so as to develop, utilize and protect this precious wealth left by predecessors.
