How did Queen Wende die?

In 634 AD, Empress Wende and Li Shimin went to Jiucheng Palace for the summer vacation, during which they became seriously ill. Soon after, Emperor Tang Gaozu also died, which hit the Queen again. This incident induced the frequent attacks of Empress Wende's early gas sickness, and also laid the groundwork for her death.
Queen Wende began to stay in bed for a long time and take drugs for a long time, but these drugs did not cure Queen Wende's illness. Li Shimin was very anxious. So Li Shimin went to the Buddhist temple in Taiyuan, where he donated many rare treasures, prayed for the support of the Queen, and hoped that the monk would help him pray.
At the same time, in order to make his wife recover soon, Li Shimin also decided to help Buddhists build temples. Li Shimin ordered the restoration of nearly 400 temples in the world at that time to pray for the Queen, hoping to make his wife better. But it didn't work this time.
In 636 AD, the 36-year-old queen died of illness in the Li Zhengting Hall of Taiji Palace. The queen died, and the whole country was very sad. Li Shimin buried her in Zhaoling.
