Dingzhou is located in the wings of Beijing and Tianjin, between Baoding and Shijiazhuang. Dingzhou is 0/96km away from Beijing/KLOC-0, 220km away from Tianjin, 68km away from Shijiazhuang and 56km away from Baoding. Total area 1283.7 km2.
Dingzhou is flat and endless. Shahe River, Mengliang River and Tanghe River cross the whole territory.
