National Sichuan Temporary Middle School (end of 1937-beginning of1938)
1937- 1938 in winter and spring, Shanghai, Nanjing and Jiangsu provinces fell one after another. Teachers and students of public and private middle schools in Nanjing and Jiangsu provinces have gone through many twists and turns, leaving their homes and retreating to Wuhan. The Ministry of Education of the Kuomintang government accepted the suggestions of the educational circles in Nanjing and Jiangsu Province, set up a registration office for teachers and students who moved in, and sent people to Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces in advance to find places to build temporary middle schools to accommodate the teachers and students who moved in, in order to continue, and organized some teachers to set up service groups for primary and secondary school teachers, which were distributed to mainland provinces to strengthen the ranks of primary and secondary school teachers. 19381-In March, teachers and students registered in Wuhan arrived in Chongqing by boat in batches. Teachers and students from Nanjing and Jiangsu provinces then moved to Beibei and Hechuan counties. The Ministry of Education sent personnel to set up the Board of Directors of the National Sichuan Temporary Middle School, and appointed Xu Fengxi as the chairman and Zhou Houshu as the principal, which was the beginning of the establishment of the National No.2 Middle School.
National Sichuan Middle School (1938- 1939)
On March 28th, 1938, the school was renamed as National Sichuan Middle School. The members of the school committee are: Xu Fengxi, Zhou Houshu, Cao Zao (absent from class), Ma Ketan, Xue Zhongtai, Liu Qi, Shi Xiangzeng (absent from class), Shen, Qian Yonghe (absent from class).
National No.2 Middle School (1939- 1946)
As more and more ethnic middle schools have been established in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces, the Ministry of Education changed ethnic Sichuan Middle School into the second ethnic middle school on 1939, in order of the time of school establishment. Since then, most of the young students from Nanjing and Jiangsu who entered the enemy-occupied areas have been assigned to study in this school. At the beginning of the school, an office was set up in Beibei to accommodate teachers and students who arrived in Beibei and Hechuan County and arrange their lives. 1938 during the summer vacation, the preparatory work for the school was initially decided, the school Committee was abolished, and the principal system was implemented, with President Zhou Houshu in charge. The school is divided into four departments: senior high school, junior high school, women's department and teachers' department. The senior middle school is in Hechuan, the junior middle school is in the satellite field near Beibei, the women's department is in Beibei Guanmiao, and the teachers' department is in Beibei.
Changshu Middle School in Jiangsu Province (1946- Early People's Republic of China (PRC))
1August, 945 15, the Japanese imperialists surrendered unconditionally after their defeat, and the eight-year victory in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression ended. That autumn, the Ministry of Education ordered the National No.2 Middle School to be demobilized in Jiangsu. Non-Jiangsu teachers and students in the school returned to their original places, and the homeless were demobilized with the school. Mr. Yan Liyang, the headmaster, was appointed to preside over the demobilization work, and was responsible for preparing a new school in Changshu County, receiving the demobilized teachers and students from Jiangsu No.2 Ethnic Middle School and renaming it Changshu Middle School in Jiangsu Province. Mr. Yan Liyang was also ordered to continue as the principal. On June+10, 5438, the preparatory work for Changshu Middle School was basically completed, and teachers and students demobilized from National No.2 Middle School in Jiangsu Province arrived in Changshu one after another. 165438+1At the beginning of October, the headmaster, Mr. Yan Liyang, arrived in Changshu with the last batch of teachers and students, bringing a large number of books, instruments, archives and new teaching and living equipment to Hechuan Changshu Middle School. When the school started in June 1946 1 1, there were only six classes, one in junior high school and one in senior high school. There are more than 280 registered students, including demobilized students from No.2 Middle School, one newly recruited junior high school and one newly recruited senior high school, and some registered students.
Changshu Middle School in South Jiangsu (at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China-1953)
1949 Changshu was liberated, and the school was renamed Changshu Middle School in southern Jiangsu.
Changshu Middle School in Jiangsu Province (1953 to present)
1953 The school was renamed Changshu Middle School in Jiangsu Province. 1990 passed the acceptance of the provincial education commission and was confirmed as the first batch of qualified key high schools. 1998, the school moved to its current address. In 2000, it was recognized as a national model ordinary high school by the Provincial Department of Education. In 2004, it was renamed as a four-star ordinary high school in Jiangsu Province.
