Introduction of Banqiao
Banqiao is located in the north of Longyang District, Baoshan City, 5 kilometers away from the urban area. After Baoshan changed to the city, the original Baoshan County became Longyang District. Banqiao is one of the political, economic and cultural centers in Longyang District. Historically, it was an important post station of the ancient South Silk Road. 200 1 is listed as a "provincial historical and cultural town". Known as "the smoke and willow in the northern Jin Dynasty", "the ancient crossing of plum blossoms" and "the country of literature", it is a big market in the western region. Donghe, the largest river in Baoshan Dam, runs through Banqiao from north to south. At the southern end of Donghe River, in the first year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty, Beijin Bridge was renovated and converted into a pavilion, with weeping willows on both sides and smoke curling up. It was called "Beijin Ada" and the scenery was pleasant. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the East River was wide, and pedestrians had to rely on "boating or wooden boats to ferry", hence the name "Meihua Gudu".
