Guy fawkes Night (or bonfire night) is a traditional festival in Britain, which falls on 1 1.5 every year. It commemorates the historical event of "gunpowder plot"-Catholic rebels plotted to blow up the British Parliament Building in Westminster, London, but the plot leaked out. A guard found guy fawkes, and guy fawkes confessed everything under torture. Today, children all like this festival very much. They made a dummy out of old clothes and burned it on a bonfire. Finally, when gorgeous fireworks are set off, it means that the explosion years ago never happened at all.
