1, mage temple
The buildings of the Master Temple were built in different periods, and the whole Master Temple didn't take shape until the eighth year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty (1828). Hong Ren Temple was built in the first year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1488), with stone carvings on the lintel? Hong Ren Hall? In three big characters, the inscription next to it is eight years of Qing Daoguang (1828). This temple is a small stone temple dedicated to the queen of heaven. There are still stone carvings at the entrance of Liang Shi when it was first built. Therefore, Ma Ge Temple is the oldest existing temple in Macao with clear physical objects for examination, and it is also the oldest preserved primitive building in Macao.
2. Port Authority Building
The building is located on the edge of Maggie Mountain, on a slope of Maggie Street. It is a masonry building influenced by Arabic colors and Gothic architectural features.
The building is 67.5 meters long and 37 meters wide. It was built on a platform surrounded by granite. Except the central part of the building is two floors with a height of 6.6 meters, all other places are designed as one floor. In addition to the side near the Mage Mountain, there is a 4-meter-wide pointed arch cloister around the building, which is convenient for viewing and also a reflection of the local climate. At the intersection of the cloister, the height of the roof also increased slightly, breaking the strong sense of level of the building. On the external walls perpendicular to each other, there are three Islamic pointed arches supported by four tiny pillars with a width of more than 65,438+0 m, while on the other walls of the cloister, there are all Islamic pointed arch windows with a width of 65,438+0.5 m, especially on the longer cloister, one * * is continuously opened. The whole building is painted yellow with a white pattern, which is in sharp contrast with the rough granite fence in color and texture.
3. Zhengjiadawu
Zhengjiadawu was built around 188 1, which is the ancestral home of Zheng, a famous thinker in modern China, and was built by his father Zheng. Later, the descendants of Zheng were scattered, and the big house was not completely maintained and rebuilt for a long time, but the building was completely preserved. The Cultural Bureau took over the big house in July, 20001,and began to carry out maintenance works according to its original appearance.
4. San Lao leng Zuo Tang
Built about 1569, it was originally a wooden structure and is one of the three ancient churches in Macao. The church was rebuilt several times later, and its current scale was completed in 1846. The church is regarded as the patron saint of the church of S.Lourenco. Because it is close to the South Bay, in the past, when Portuguese ships returned to Australia for trade, their families would stand on the steps of the church and call for waiting, praying for a smooth sailing and a safe return.
