Xinmi, formerly known as Mixian County, had this title as early as the Western Han Dynasty. It is said that the name of the county town comes from a sentence in the Book of Songs: "The mountains are as dense as a hall". At present, there are two national key cultural relics protection units in xinmi city. One is the Han Tomb in Dahuting, where Zhang Shi, the satrap of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was buried. I have seen it, and it is one of the largest Han tombs in China. There are two tombs with three bedrooms and one living room. The walls were covered with exquisite murals and sculptures, but they were looted as early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, leaving only these most precious murals. There is also the site of Gucheng Village, which is not far from my hometown. It is said to be Xuanyuan Mountain, the old capital of the Yellow Emperor. In fact, there are some famous sites, such as Xinzhai site, which is a large-scale site in early summer. In archaeology, there is a special Xinzhai period, which refers to this place. These two sites were included in the first batch of key archaeological objects of the Chinese civilization source exploration project. There are four sites in China, three in Zhengzhou, two in Xinmi and one in Yangcheng, but Dengfeng. There are others, such as a big tomb not far from Gucheng Village, but the tomb of Zheng Zhuanggong, one of the famous five tyrants in the Spring and Autumn Period, was stolen as early as the Han Dynasty and has not been excavated so far. There are some, I won't say, such as The Yellow Emperor's Palace, Amano Cave and Chaohua Temple. Personally, I think it's no big deal. Search it if you are interested. They are all introduced online.
Second, about the historical celebrities in Xinmi:
There are not many historical celebrities in Xinmi, not to mention the Yellow Emperor. Today, there are still many controversies, but the Yellow Emperor's old capital is Xinmi, which seems to have become the mainstream opinion in the archaeological community. Later, Hou Ba, a famous politician in the Western Han Dynasty, served as the biggest official (as if by this name), which was equivalent to the position of prime minister. He was born and raised in Mixian County, but he didn't have many famous achievements. Then Bai Juyi. Some netizens said that he was not from Xinzheng. It's true. He was born at the junction of Xinzheng and Xinmi. At that time, it seemed to be the area under the jurisdiction of Xinzheng County. When he was young, his main activities were in Xiangshan, Xinmi. Otherwise, how could his nickname be called Xiangshan laity? It is said that all the local people are his descendants, and many of them are surnamed Bai. He also taught local people some skills, such as how to use coal and how to make pottery. After all, he is an intellectual! Later, in the Qing Dynasty, there was a famous poet named Qian, a modern poet, some celebrities, such as the famous geologist Gu Dezhen, the famous mathematician Hou Zhenting, and several senior officials, such as the former secretary of the municipal party committee of An and the former director of the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Department. I don't remember their names. I think everyone knows the first congress of China. At that time, in No.2 Middle School, a person from Mi County took part. Unfortunately, I also forgot his name.
Third, about the natural scenery of Xinmi:
Xinmi is located at the foot of Songshan Mountain, which belongs to shallow mountainous area and hilly terrain. The highest peak is the Dongmaishu ancient pile (with a soil name) in Jianshan, 1 108 meters. The lowest altitude is only 1 14 meters. At the junction of Xinzheng, my hometown is there. The biggest river in China is Shuanghui River, also called Weishui River. There is also a famous river called Qinhe River, which is at the corner of Qinhe River, but the main birthplace of China's early civilization is now in Quliang Township. In Jianshan Township, there are many interesting natural scenery, such as Shenxian Cave, the largest cave in the north of the Yangtze River, Zhuquan Temple in the Peach Blossom Garden in Zhongzhou (this is from Niudian Town), Xiangyu Temple Forest Park, Wu Zhiling and the newly discovered Hongshilin. It's a pity that I haven't been there yet, needless to say. In other towns and villages, there are some interesting places, but now the xinmi city government pays little attention to the development of tourism, which is far from the xinzheng city government.
Four, about the natural resources of Xinmi:
Xinmi is rich in natural resources, the most famous of which are coal, bauxite, silica, limestone, jade and oilstone. Among them, the coal reserves reach 5 billion tons, which is a national key coal-producing county, and bauxite and limestone resources are abundant, making Xinmi's other two economic pillars-refractories and building materials. Let many people say that Xinmi's coal is almost finished, and the economy is finished. This is totally unfounded. He doesn't know the details of Xinmi at all. By last year, the annual output of Xinmi coal reached 8 million tons, that is, according to the annual output100000 tons, it will take 500 years to dig it all! Up to now, there are at least more than 2 billion tons of deep coal, which has not been moved at all! As for others, such as limestone, the Qiligang cement plant in that province has been producing for decades, and even a hill has not been dug up, and there are hundreds of such stone mountains in Xinmi! Xinmi's resource-based industries will continue their vitality for a long time.
