Fuyuan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the east of Yunnan Province, at the junction of Yunnan and Guizhou. Known as the "East Gate of Yunnan" and "Yungui Lock Key".
Fuyuan County has a long history and rich resources, and is one of the key coal-producing counties in China, and also the origin of "China Konjac Town" and "Dahewu Pig". Fuyuan County has convenient transportation, and Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway, Panxi railway and G320 national road pass through the territory. Fuyuan North Station is the first stop for Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway to enter Yunnan.
