2. international organization of consumers unions (IOCU) is an independent, non-profit and non-political organization. 1960, founded by consumer organizations in the United States, Britain, Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands, is registered in the Netherlands, headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands, and now moved to London, England, with its Asia-Pacific branch in Penang, Malaysia. IOCU has more than 230 members of consumer organizations in 1 15 countries and regions. In September, 1987, China Consumers Association was accepted as a full member of the organization.
