What does Xinye mean?
Xinye is a county-level administrative region located in the northeast of Nanyang City, Henan Province. Historically, Xinye area was once a famous city in the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Warring States and Three Kingdoms period, and it was one of the hometowns of Cao Cao. Xinye's name comes from Wei Zi, a saint of Zhou Dynasty, whose fief is located in Xinye area today. So Xinye is also called Weiguo.
