There is a hill in front of Mount Tai called Li Haoshan, next to Tai 'an Railway Station, which is the seat of the underworld in ancient legends. There is an idiom called "the soul belongs to Artemisia", which means it here. Before the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), there were large shrines of ghosts and gods in Li Haoshan, such as the Rosen Hall and the Gate of Hell, which were all destroyed when capitalism collapsed. Emperors of all previous dynasties worshipped Mount Tai, where they first worshipped the nether world, and then went up the mountain to worship heaven.

There are many names related to the underworld in Tai 'an, such as Naihe River, which divides Tai 'an city into two, and Naihe Bridge spans this river. Gu's Archaeological Records of Shandong in Qing Dynasty. "Distinguishing Nai River" records: "Its water is on the left of Li Haoshan, and there is a bridge across it. It is called Nai River Bridge and Nai River." On the shiping in the south of Changshou Bridge in Taishan, there is a pale white rock belt across the river valley on both sides of the strait, which is the famous boundary of Yin and Yang. In addition, there are Lingshan Street and Qingshan Street in Tai 'an city. It's really the worship of Lingshan in the west, and the loyal bones are buried in the green hills. Huang Qian Reservoir is one of the main sources of water for Tai 'an people. It is said that it used to be called Huang Quan Reservoir, but later it was changed to Huang Qian Reservoir because it was not pleasant to hear.

Mount Tai has three realms since ancient times, which means that Nai River is the boundary, the west of the river is the underworld, the east is the human world, and the north of Mount Tai is the celestial world. This is because this side of Hexi is Li Haoshan, where the nether world is in charge. To the east is Dai Temple, which is the place of emperors on earth, and to the north is Mount Tai, with Zhongtianmen, Nantianmen and Jade Emperor Hall. This is heaven.

Dongyue Temple has been built all over the country, such as the famous Dongyue Temple in Beijing. The main function of Dongyue Temple is to worship the nether world and pray for longevity.
