The Historical Background of Daqin Railway
Daqin Railway starts from Hanjialing Station, intersects with Tongpu Railway in the west and reaches Qinhuangdao Port in the east, with a total length of 653 kilometers (more than 5 kilometers of connecting lines in Qinhuangdao Port). It is China's national railway line I, with 37 stations along it. The railway was completed in two stages. The first phase was started on June 1985 and put into production on February 28th. 1988. The second phase of the project started in June 1988 and was put into production in June1992+February 2 1. The original design capacity of the railway is 50 million tons/year. After the transformation, 1997, the transportation capacity of1million tons/year is formed. At present, another round of transformation is under way, and the transportation capacity after completion will reach more than 250 million tons. Daqin Railway is mainly engaged in cargo transportation, especially coal transportation, and it is one of the main channels (northern channels) for transporting coal from west to east in China. Besides transporting coal mainly from the north of Shanxi, Daqin Railway also transports coal from the west of Inner Mongolia and the north of Shaanxi. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, Daqin Railway transported coal 1.22 million tons, 1.53 million tons and 203 million tons respectively, accounting for more than 85% of the coal transportation market in the northwest of the mountain and western Mongolia. The 10,000-ton coal train running on Shacheng Bridge of Daqin Railway is a professional coal transportation line with the largest transportation capacity in the world. Adopting double-line electrification and heavy-duty technology, equipped with large-capacity locomotives and heavy-duty special trucks, adopting large-scale automatic loading and unloading system and direct transportation mode, relying on the 10,000-ton loading station and Qinhuangdao Port, the largest coal loading and unloading port in China, a complete coal transportation system is formed. At present, the Daqin Railway mainly operates 1 10,000-ton trains. Since March 2006, Daqin has taken the lead in running heavy-haul trains in China, with the maximum load capacity of a single row exceeding 20,000 tons. Four locomotives jointly tow 2 10 vehicles, with a total length of 2600 meters. At the same time, the trucks used on the Daqin Railway are specially designed for the line and Qinhuangdao Port. When unloading coal at the port, the train does not stop, but is automatically unloaded by the dumper during the slow moving process. After coal unloading, the train immediately returns to Datong direction through the loop line. At present, there are 37 stations in Daqin Railway, and the capacity expansion plan is being implemented, in which 17 stations will be demolished to improve the train running speed. Daqin Railway originally belonged to Datong Railway Branch of Beijing Railway Bureau. In June 2004, Daqin Railway Co., Ltd. was established to be responsible for the operation of Daqin Railway. June 5438+October 2005 10, the company acquired Fengsha Railway (Datong-Guo Section), Beitongpu Railway (Datong-Ningwu Section), Kouquan Railway Branch and Ningyang Railway Branch, covering the operating assets of the entire Datong Railway Branch. After the separation of Beijing Railway Bureau and taiyuan railway administration in March 2005, Daqin Railway (Company) was placed under Taiyuan Bureau. In July 2006, Daqin Railway Co., Ltd. (SSE: 60 1006) publicly issued shares in Shanghai Stock Exchange, and went public in August of that year.
