Located at the eastern foot of Gange Mountain in Shui Ying Village, Xiaoxi Township, 5 kilometers north of Tengchong, it covers an area of more than 3,000 square meters and is the oldest temple in Tengchong. Zhu Zhu Temple was built by Meng Guang, Governor of Tengchong in Yuan Dynasty. According to legend, there is a dragon in the Gange River, which often flies to the sky to play with pearls. One day, it accidentally fell to the ground and was picked up by Meng Guang. He hid the orb in the belly of the Buddha being shaped, named the completed temple Huzhu Temple, and wrote a banner on the door: Light contains the sun and the moon, which means glory with the sun and the moon. Another legend is that the dust on the roof of Daxiong Hall is spotless and leaves do not accumulate. As long as there is a leaf, birds will come and go. Some people say that there are huge pillars in the temple, which are made of wood hawthorn by Master Lu Ban, adding a magical color to Huzhu Temple.
Huzhu Temple, located in the west to the east, consists of Tianzi Hall, Daxiong Hall, Guanyin Hall, Tianmen and Ertianmen. Tengchong is a Buddhist holy land with quiet environment and charming scenery.
