Introduction to Jiangdong Village
Jiangdong Village is located in Hezhuang Street, Yangshan Road, Jiangjiangdong, 4 kilometers away from the city center. It was formed in November 2000 by the merger of the three original small villages of Wansheng, Zhaojia and Jishan'an. The third ring road in the north of the city crosses the village and has 1045 acres of cultivated land. Surrounded by Shijia, Yangshan and Bailiang villages, the village has 791 households with a population of 2060, divided into 10 villager groups. The village-level collective economy is mainly industrial, with more than 70 individual and private enterprises, mainly those engaged in copper refining, artificial fur, and small hardware.

The village was formed in May 2005 by the merger of the original Jiangjian Village and Xindong Village, from which Jiangdong came. As of 2008, it has jurisdiction over 18 villager groups and 580 farmers, including 185 acres of dry land and 2,384 acres of paddy land.
