Sichuan Online News (Sichuan online reporter Zhang Xuechan) On November 3th, the fifth Wang Guangqi Prize for Literature and Art in Wenjiang District and the closing ceremony of the 15th Guangqi Music Festival "Dream in the Red Chamber" special national concert were held in the Dream Theater of Wenjiang Youth Activity Center. Thirty works won the 5th Wang Guangqi Prize for Literature and Art, and the Sichuan Conservatory of Music National Orchestra performed 14 classical music works such as A Dream of Red Mansions.

this activity was hosted by the Propaganda Department of Chengdu Municipal Committee, Chengdu Wenguang New Bureau, Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Sichuan Conservatory of Music, and was undertaken by the Propaganda Department of Wenjiang District Committee of Chengdu, Wenjiang District Wenguang New Bureau and Wenjiang District Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

The 5th Wang Guangqi Prize for Literature and Art was launched on July 8th this year, and 3 works were selected, with 4 winners. Compared with previous years, the award-winning works mainly show the characteristics of many works praising the new look of Wenjiang, a wide range of works, the emergence of new works by newcomers and many works winning awards at national, provincial and municipal levels.

representative works praising the new face of Wenjiang include musical works "The Legend of Wenjiang", "Neighborhood Family" and dance works "The Origin of Jinma River". The dance work "Companion" was broadcast in Dance World in cctv-3, and the literary work "That Mass of Purple" was publicly released in Xinhua Bookstore and websites all over the country. Among the winners, 14 new works were awarded, accounting for 46% of the winners.

The music "Little Egret" won the best creative award in the first national children's environmental songs collection and selection activity of "Children's Sound" jointly sponsored by China Musicians Association and China Environmental Protection Federation. The photo work "Sketch of Migrant Workers in the Turning Sand Factory" won the Excellent Collection Award of the 5th National Farmers Photography Competition sponsored by China Photographers Association. The fine art work "Memories of the Soul" was selected as the fourth Western Ceramics Fine Biennale sponsored by China Artists Association and Sichuan Artists Association, and won the special prize. Some works in the collection of short stories "That Blossom Purple" have won the National Short Story Essay Award and the Sichuan Daily Literature Award.

After the award ceremony, the National Orchestra of Sichuan Conservatory of Music was invited to give the audience a special performance of "Dream in the Red Chamber". The repertoire was 14 classical music works such as A Dream of Red Mansions, which was well received by the audience.

It is understood that the 15th Guangqi Music Festival in Wenjiang District has been fully included in the first Chengdu International Music Poetry Season of music city Poetry in 216. As the closing performance of this Guangqi Music Festival, it has received strong support from Sichuan Conservatory of Music.
