"Journey to the West" is a 25-episode costume myth drama produced by CCTV and the China TV Drama Production Center. It is adapted from the literary masterpiece of the same name in the Ming Dynasty. On February 1, 1988, the entire "Journey to the West" was put on the screen for the first time, setting a precedent for a TV series to be filmed abroad. This TV series created a mythical world full of fantasy under limited artistic and technical conditions, and vividly demonstrated the tenacious spirit of Tang Seng, his master and his disciples, who were not afraid of dangers.
