1. Music selection
During the exam, there will be personal works display or folk dance performance. Please pay attention to the following points when choosing music:
( 1) Editing needs to be done. Don’t use the whole song. There is not so much time for you to dance completely. It is usually 2 minutes. Sometimes there are many people and the time is tight, it will become 1 minute. If it is very exciting, the teacher will not Stop and let you dance for 2 minutes.
(2) It is best to edit the test repertoire and burn it on a separate CD so that the teacher in the examination room can play it. If you cannot find it quickly, the teacher will ask you to perform without a cappella.
(3) It is best to quickly enter the part you want to express the most. Don’t make the prelude too long. Don’t be stopped when the time is up before you get up from the ground.
(4) A long prelude and few movements means that you stopped before warming up, basically still based on the original movements.
(5) Choose music that allows people to follow the rhythm and make the teacher sing. Sometimes the teacher who plays the music will be intoxicated for a while, so you can express yourself more.
The music selected must be conducive to displaying and fully displaying personal strengths and skills.
2. Clothing
(1) Dance costumes should be easy to change on site, and the site cannot be closed for changing.
(2) Tailor-made clothes can either help show off the body shape, or help cover up the shortcomings of the body shape.
3. Personal skills
Usually exam skills mainly fall into three categories: jump, turn and flip. Pay attention to the connection and coherence of the three.
If the on-site teacher says that you only need to do one movement for each category, but if you are good at turning, then complete the tasks and do not be affected by the on-site requirements.
You must set a plan in advance and do not change it easily in the exam room, because even if you do one jump, one flip, and multiple turns, the teacher will not stop you.
