Plot introduction

Huang Feihong and his disciple Liang Kuan accompanied Thirteenth Aunt back to the capital to discuss the establishment of "Baozhilin Pharmaceutical Factory" with his father Huang Qiying. He saw martial arts masters from various factions fighting on the streets of the capital, and even his father was injured. He suddenly felt that the "Lion King Conference" would become a place for martial arts factions to fight against each other. The local tycoon Zhao Tianba wants to dominate one side and plots to eradicate dissidents. Huang Feihong relied on his superb martial arts and got out of the predicament with the help of his father and Liang Kuan. Huang Feihong no longer stood idly by and made up his mind to prevent Zhao Tianba from seizing the reputation of "Lion King". At the same time, the ambassadors of Britain, France and other countries were plotting to assassinate Li Hongzhang at the "Lion King Conference", and the planned action was executed by Du Wenxiu. The conspiracy was accidentally discovered by Aunt Thirteen. Du Wenxiu was about to take action, but was crushed by Huang Feihong who had been prepared for a long time. When the incident was revealed, Du Wenxiu was shot to death and silenced. The battle for the "Lion King" begins. Liang Kuan was unable to play due to injury, so Gui Jiao Qimao volunteered to join forces with Huang Feihong as a lion. They fought against all the heroes and defeated Zhao Tianba and won the title of "Chinese Lion King".

Behind-the-scenes production

In the 1990s, Tsui Hark used ingenious and innovative directing techniques and cast Jet Li, who had a strong foundation in martial arts, to play Wong Fei-hung, and added Donnie Yen and Rosamund Kwan.
