Introduction to Jiang Shan
Jiang Shan was born into a film family. Her father, Jiang Huaiyan, once worked as an actor and director, and later became the director of the Literary Planning Department of Beijing Film Studio. Jiang Shan knew music earlier than she knew drama. There was no television when I was a kid, but there were movies. Watching open-air movies in the military compound. Her parents were both opera singers at first, so Jiang Shan has been exposed to music and the stage since she was a child. When she was in junior high school, Jiang Shan joined the China Youth Chorus and became one of the first chorus members. She sang for three years.
Jiang Shan’s English has been pretty good since she was a child. She came to Beijing with her parents when she was in elementary school. It happened that she attended a pilot school with English classes. Because of her father's relationship (Jiang Shan's father, Jiang Huaiyan, was the literary editor of Beijing Film Studio), Beijing Film Studio used to have internal reference films and expansion films, so she could watch several English films in two weeks. Before going to the Chinese Theater Academy, Jiang Shan originally wanted to get into a foreign language college.
