Odessa State Conservatory of Music is also known as "Odessa State Conservatory of Music". The Odessa Royal State Conservatory of Music, named after Nejdanova, was founded in 1913. It is one of the oldest music institutions of higher learning in Ukraine. It is a member of the European Association of Music Schools and is the central college for professional music education and art in southern Ukraine. .
Odessa State Conservatory of Music has trained more than 8,000 musicians and composers since its establishment. Some famous musicians such as I. Gilels and B. Rutyen Ka, D. Oistrakh, K. Danikevich, Y. Sack, E. Chavdal, H. Oglinytsi, etc. all studied or graduated from this school.
O. Prague Vidavo (vocal music), P. Starialsky (violin), K. Petrova (choral conductor) and other music educators have also won awards for the college Many honors. At the same time, the director of the college, A.V. Sokler, is also an academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, a doctor of arts, and a professor. Since 1950, international students from different countries have been studying in the school. Such as: South Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, Canada, Hungary, Australia, the United States, etc. The school has friendly exchanges and cooperation with music schools in many countries in the world, such as Germany, Poland, France, Sweden, Slovakia, Ireland, etc. The school currently has 200 international students and more than 100 visiting students.
