English lyrics:
Hotel California-Eagles
Lyrics: Don Felder, Glenn Frey, Don Henley Composed by Bill Szymczyk
On a Dark Desert Highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself, "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...
"Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place, Such a lovely face
Plenty of rooms at the Hotel California
Any time of year, you can find it here "
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain, "Please bring me my wine"
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here since 1969'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say... ? "Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place, Such a lovely face
They living it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise, bring your alibis"
Mirrors on the ceiling, The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers, They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
'Relax,' said the night-man, " We are programmed to receive.
You can checkout any time you like,
but you can never leave!"
Chinese lyrics:
Driving on a dark desert highway, the cool wind blows my hair
Strong marijuana smell? Scattered in the air
Looking up into the distance, I saw the lights flashing
My head became more and more heavy and my vision became blurred
I had to stop and look for a place to spend the night
She stood at the door and greeted me. I heard the church bells in the distance
I said to myself that this might be heaven
or hell. Then she lit a candle
and guided me along the corridor. Voice
I think I hear them say welcome to the California Hotel
What a beautiful place! What a lovely face
The California Hotel has so many rooms all year round
You can find a place here. Her heart is twisted with jewels
She drives a Mercedes? She also brought many beautiful and charming young men
She told them to call their friends and they danced in the courtyard
Some of the summer fragrance became memories
Some were forgotten? So I called the head waiter.
Can I have some wine, please? He said? We haven't had any supplies since 1969
? Their words are still heard in the distance
wake you up in the middle of the night and only hear them say
Welcome to the California Hotel? What a beautiful place
What a lovely face? They reveled in the California Hotel
It's amazing how good it is here? An excuse for your depravity
Pink champagne chilled with a mirror on the ceiling
And she said? We are all prisoners here.
We are in debt for our own desires. In the big room of the main hall,
People raise the fire of carnival. They stab
with steel knives but can't kill the demons in their hearts? The last thing I remember
is that I ran as fast as I could to the door, and I had to find my way back
to my old place? "Relax,"
the doorman said, "We're just serving as usual"
You can finish at any time? But you can never get rid of it
Hotel California is a song by Eagles, a famous American country rock band, with Don Henley as the lead singer. The single was released on February 22, 1977 and included in the band's fifth studio album of the same name, Hotel California.
The 196s was a period of free creation in American music. The popularity of rock music became a symbol of freedom and rebellion in the 196s. However, its grand occasion gradually led to the musicians' increasingly erosive attitude towards life. Drug abuse and promiscuity became almost the same degenerate road taken by every American rock musician in the 197s, and money and pleasure became the new image of rock music in the 197s.
The Eagles, both musicians, saw this fact, but there was nothing they could do. Musicians have regarded this addicted life as the normal state in the music industry. Rock musicians are always surrounded by beautiful girls and decadent lives. So, the band created this song "Hotel California".
