On March 1st, the Happy Time Summer Camp project was approved. On the 28th, we participated in the project backbone training conducted by the Youth Development Foundation in Changsha and made more detailed adjustments to the plan.
On April 1st, Siping and I went to Huize Xingfu Primary School to conduct research. After that, we started to form a team, collect game information, build a publicity platform, and officially started recruiting volunteers from the outside world on April 14th. , organized volunteers to conduct 4 targeted discussions.
On May 12, the team began to design courses according to the division of labor, and contacted Mr. Lei Jian, director of the Chengdu New Space Youth Development Center, for guidance. At the end of May, the design of each course of the project was basically completed, the overall project action book was also compiled, and the materials were distributed to volunteers for study.
At the end of June, we will purchase medicines, team uniforms and other materials, borrow sleeping bags and moisture-proof pads, design and book round-trip routes, purchase insurance, etc. All preparation work was completed in the last few days.
The final opening date is July 10th. The team members participating in the camp were finally determined to be 12 people: Zhang Qi, Jiang Lin, Cao Junjun, Zhang Lei, Shi Yue, Tian Li, Yan Li, Zhang Yufang, Guan Yayuan, Yang Xue, Xiao Shuli, Liu Cunyi, with Xiong Lan providing remote guidance in Beijing.

On the 9th, the whole team conducted a pre-drill and negotiated with the school about the opening ceremony. In the afternoon, teachers from the Youth Development Foundation arrived at the school with reporter Ru from Yunnan Information News.
On the morning of the 10th, the opening ceremony of the summer camp was held. More than 10 guests from the Yunnan Youth Foundation, Huize Youth League County Committee, County Education Bureau, Leye Town Government and the Town Central School were invited to attend the opening ceremony. From the time the summer camp team members arrived in Huize County to the collective return trip, various departments of the Huize Youth League Committee, Leye Central School and Tuanpo Primary School gave the summer camp team the greatest support, which greatly reduced the team’s travel time and various potential risks at the activity site to ensure the smooth development of the summer camp.
On the 18th, the six team members who transferred from Kunming went to the Yunnan Youth Foundation to visit the teachers who have always cared about and supported Happy Time and this summer camp.
We have now entered the summary period of Happy Time Summer Camp. 2. Shortcomings and improvements
1) Due to manpower issues and network communication limitations in the preparation stage, the overall project preparation was insufficient and the goals were not clear enough. The activity plan is not detailed enough, mainly because it is not enforceable and targeted enough.
2) The publicity was not in place and sufficient fixed manpower was not found during the preparation stage.
3) The assessment of volunteers is a bit confusing, the assessment time and content are uncertain, and the assessment form is not very good (make a more effective assessment plan);
4) Volunteers Inadequate experience, lack of professionals during the activity (which should be considered when recruiting volunteers in the future), and some inability to respond to emergencies;

3. Future development plan:
