The Music Department belongs to the School of Art. It has an independent teaching building, J11, by the Triangle Lake in the North District of our school; it is adjacent to the School of Modern Art.

The Music Department includes music performance majors and music education majors. The Jianghan University Art Chorus formed in it is very strong and has won gold medals in senior competitions many times.
