You don’t need a lullaby to sleep
Source: "China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine" Time: 2004-03-11
As long as you pay attention to a few simple questions before going to bed, you can sleep peacefully.
You should reduce physical and mental activities before going to bed. Although physical activity is helpful for sleep, excessive exercise before going to bed can accelerate blood circulation and cause mental excitement, which is not conducive to sleep. Sleep;
Do not drink strong tea, coffee and other stimulating drinks after dinner;
Keep the bedroom environment quiet, dark, and at a suitable temperature. The bed and bedding should be clean and comfortable;
Drinking alcohol has a temporary hypnotic effect, but it can make people sleep unreliably and wake them up early, so it is not advisable to drink alcohol before going to bed;
Beds are for sleeping Do not watch TV or read books in bed, and do not think about problems in bed. Some things should be thought about before going to bed or simply left to think about tomorrow;
Feeling tired after sex and making Relaxation is beneficial to sleep;
Don't eat too much before going to bed, because eating too much will increase gastrointestinal motility, which is what Chinese medicine says: "If the stomach is not harmonious, you will be restless."
The method of counting breaths is actually a kind of psychological relaxation method
The ancients called breathing "breathing", and one breath is one breath. Exhaling is called out-breathing, and inhaling is called in-breathing. Historically, the so-called qigong of different schools has always attached great importance to the regulation of breathing. The so-called breath counting method is to achieve the purpose of psychological relaxation and peaceful sleep by counting one's own breaths.
The method is very simple. After lying on the bed, relax your whole body, take a few deep breaths, and then start counting your breaths. You can count the inhalations or the outflows. Count from the first breath to the tenth breath, and then count from the first breath again. Often you can't. Counting to ten, or counting past ten, is because your mind is already thinking about the stock market or other such things. This is normal. At this time, you have to start counting from one. This cycle continues, and before you know it, you have fallen asleep.
Several of my patients who often have trouble sleeping use this method to hypnotize them, and it works every time. I dare to bet you a dollar that if you can't fall asleep, this method will definitely be effective.
Self-relaxation training - still a psychological relaxation method
Lie in bed, close your eyes, and breathe naturally. Then focus on your hands or feet, relax the muscles all over your body, and experience the degree of muscle relaxation with a sense of heaviness. Silently recite self-suggestive sentences: "My feet are getting heavier and heavier", "My lower limbs are getting heavier and heavier"... "My whole body is getting heavier and heavier". As soon as you realize thoughts that have nothing to do with the heaviness of your limbs, you should stop immediately and focus on the experience of the heaviness of your hands and feet. Patients can generally relax and fall asleep during the practice. If you insist on training this method for a period of time, it will have good results.
Music therapy-----Relax your mind and you will be able to sleep peacefully
Before going to bed, playing a piece of soft, monotonous music may have a certain effect.
Hearing good music is like a child enjoying the coolness of a summer night sitting in an old locust tree and listening to an old grandmother telling beautiful fairy tales, or like a beach under the sun. It makes people feel relaxed and happy, temporarily forgetting their worries and relaxing their mood. Sleep peacefully.
Perhaps this last article is too complete, but I think some of the methods are still advisable, so I copied it and posted it here for you to see if it doesn’t hurt:)
