In April 2001, Sodagreen was formed by lead singer Qingfeng, bassist Xinyi and the first guitarist Xinge. The drummer

was a senior of Xinyi’s swimming team. After listening to Qingfeng I decided to join the demo. The first time he participated in the competition was the Golden Spin Award in May 2001. Soda Green won the Best Popularity Award with the only composed song "Peep" that he had practiced. However, because of this competition, Soda Green was judged as a minor Excavated and participated in the compilation recording of Jiaotou Music's "Young Country" at that time, and the song included was "Peeping". After the second guitarist Yan Ting, the third and fourth guitarists Xiao Wei and Hong Ru were successively replaced.
