We just use their data to explain the case. According to the survey data, we think that many high school students don't know much about English pop songs, so we think it is necessary to investigate English pop songs and their types.

the development of styles and genres of English pop music
English pop music, also known as popular music, is the main body of European English pop music, which is mainly based on the integration of traditional music, folk music and black music in Europe and other countries. With the gradual evolution and development, new kinds of forms have emerged, such as jazz, Tinpan Hutong songs, country music, ragtime blues, rock music and so on. Pop music is relative to serious music, which is different from serious music, because serious music often has deep ideological connotation and some special knowledge levels, which requires the audience to use their own knowledge and cultivation to understand and taste carefully. For the audience, pop music is short, popular and catchy to sing, and it can be understood only by relying on the understanding and perceptual knowledge of music without more specialization.
American pop music is more entertaining and commercial. Its self-entertainment comes from African music tradition. The most influential ones, such as jazz, blues and rock music, all originated from black music.
The styles of English pop songs have developed to the present, and they have entered the stage of diversified development. From the history of pop music, combined with our data: Do you know several styles or genres of English pop songs? In this question, there are 46 people who choose rock, 32 people who choose jazz and 18 people who choose country, so we will focus on these three aspects
Research experience
In order to explore the development and evolution of English pop songs in various stages, so that more high school students like us can understand the development of English pop songs while enjoying them. Every member of our group has never said the word "give up" for this research.
Even when we are at a loss, that is, when we look up quite a lot of materials with the help of the internet search function (most of the materials are ambiguous or irrelevant to say that English pop songs are evolved from blues), we are all at a loss, and the opinions of many people influence us. Especially after reading Baidu's "Know" column, we were even more puzzled. In this case, our team members worked together, carefully analyzed the collected data and arranged them according to time, and finally we got the word "synchronous development" put forward by fewer people. In fact, there are many styles of English pop songs in the same period. They are not developed according to a certain style, but are diversified. In the data, we further learned some background at that time, which is one of the biggest gains of our research.
division of labor and cooperation have cultivated our team spirit. The most important thing is that we have learned the method of studying problems, and our rigorous attitude will have a good influence on our future study and make our ability improve continuously. We want to thank the school, the instructor and the students who have been investigated for the many gains of this research. Thank you for giving us this opportunity. We firmly believe that we will do better in the next research study!
