The high school music appreciation class also includes a practical activity that allows students to introduce music themselves and express their own artistic opinions, which also exercises students' abilities.

The shortcoming is that it focuses on the cultivation of emotions and interests, and slightly neglects the teaching of music theory knowledge to students in the third year of junior high school and the first year of high school. After all, the three interact and promote each other. Only by mastering the knowledge of music theory can you feel and understand music on a deeper level.

2. Classroom management:

In order to enable students to take music classes easily and happily, use encouragement to make students show good qualities. Strive to use good design to grab students' attention. Behaviors that disrupt classroom order were also well-meaningly criticized and corrected.

Insufficient: There is not enough criticism for students’ behavior that disrupts the classroom. I always think that students are not malicious, but just immature. Therefore, the environment given to them is relatively relaxed. As a result, they cannot truly realize their mistakes and feel confident. Therefore, in the future, special attention should be paid to clearly distinguishing rewards and punishments and grasping the scale. Especially for the groups of middle school students who feel a sense of superiority sitting in classrooms without desks or podiums. Also, the power of humor is not used enough.

3. Extracurricular activities:

In order to better cultivate students' interest in music, according to the school's plan, a chorus and instrumental band were formed in Baoxian Junior High School. The members of the chorus basically sign up voluntarily. There is no extracurricular activity time for training on Mondays and Thursdays. The members of the instrumental band are composed of students with basic knowledge of instrumental music. Rehearsals every two weeks on weekends.

In this semester: the first concert of Baoxian Middle School (instrumental music special) was held; students were organized to participate in a gala performance between our school and the Canadian International School of Hong Kong; the "Affiliated Middle School" was held "Three Independence" competition activities; with the joint efforts of school leaders and teachers, the annual "Voice of Baoji Mountain" large-scale theatrical performance was successfully held.

Weaknesses: The plan to form a brass band in the first year of high school was not realized. Learning instrumental music is a great artistic practice. For high school students who have few music classes and are nervous about studying, learning to play some musical instruments is of great benefit to their study and life. Many middle schools in the city (including several key ones) have student brass bands. The report has been submitted, and I believe our school will be able to form its own wind band soon. Not participating in the city's chorus competition caused the students to lose an opportunity to show themselves, learn and exercise. I feel really guilty.

About the "Voice of Baoji Mountain" cultural performance. I thought it was just a large-scale event for teachers and students to have fun at the end of the year and welcome the New Year. The program control was not very strict, which affected the quality and effect of the entire party and made it appear lengthy. The host cannot be compromised and should be strictly selected to ensure the quality of the party. Preparations should also be made before the theatrical performance. Such as: venue, sound, staff and their responsible work. The program must be rehearsed at the performance venue in advance.

4. Examination:

In order to make the music examination not old-fashioned and rigid, so that students can express music more naturally and express their understanding of music, and also to let me To have a basic understanding of each student, I used the following method for the music exam this semester: (Baoxian Grade 1, Affiliated High School Grade 3) Let students choose a performance method, that is, singing, playing, dancing, etc. (Attached to the first year of high school) Each person writes an article of about 500 words.
