Music therapists need to meet the following conditions:

Junior music therapists (those who meet one of the following conditions):

(1) Have music therapy skills Those with a college degree or above and have completed the required music therapy courses.

(2) Those who have a college degree or above in music, have met the required hours of professional training in primary music therapy and passed the examination.

(3) Those who have major professional and technical qualifications in medicine or psychology, have met the required hours of professional training in primary music therapy and passed the examination.

(4) Those who have been engaged in relevant professional work for more than 1 year, have met the required hours of professional training in primary music therapy and passed the examination.

Intermediate music therapist (one who meets one of the following conditions):

(1) Those who have a bachelor’s degree or above in music therapy and have completed the required music therapy courses.

(2) Applicants with a bachelor's degree or above in music, who have met the required hours of professional training in intermediate music therapy and passed the examination.

(3) Those who have a bachelor’s degree or above in medicine, psychology or related majors, have met the required hours of professional training in intermediate music therapy and passed the examination.

(4) Those who have been engaged in relevant professional work for more than 3 years, have met the professional training hours of intermediate music therapy and passed the examination.

Senior music therapists (those who meet one of the following conditions):

(1) Those who have a graduate degree or above in music therapy and have completed the required graduate courses in music therapy.

(2) Those who have a bachelor’s degree or above in music, have met the required hours of professional training as a senior music therapist and passed the examination.

(3) Those who have been engaged in relevant professional work for more than 5 years, have completed the professional training hours of senior music therapists and passed the examination.

(4) Those who have senior professional and technical title qualifications in medicine or psychology, have met the required hours of advanced music therapy professional training and passed the examination.
