Ashura is a band founded in October 1998. Its name comes from the protagonist Ashura, who is both good and evil in CLAMP's classic comic "Saint".
After experiencing many personnel changes and style changes, it has become the most fixed lineup today. Ashura tolerates every good musical element and integrates FUNK, PUNK, POP, METAL, HIP-HOP and other elements into music to explore more musical possibilities. The orchestra insists on expressing positive, optimistic and healthy thoughts in music, pays attention to and records the various emotions and life experienced by people of its own generation as they grow up, and believes in ideals, friendship, hard work, sweat and touching.

The core figures of "Underground Baby" are the Gao brothers: Gao Xing is the vocalist and guitarist, and his younger brother Gao Yang plays drums. Both brothers have dyed afros and dress casually. They often drive motorcycles around Beijing. "Underground Baby" adopts the most authentic punk band formation. In addition to the Gao brothers, the bassist is also played by Yue Haokun of the "Compass" band. They released their first piece "All the Same" in "Chinese Fire (II)" in 1996, and their original and rough punk sound shocked the music world. In the later release "Chinese Fire (III)", they released two more works, "Awakening" and "Seed". In the music of "Underground Babies", what I hear most is Takayuki's self-analysis and confession. They use simple music to touch the ears of the younger generation.
