Cheng Yansheng, the lyricist of this song, is from Huaining, Anhui Province. He studied in England, France, Japan and other countries in his early years. After returning to China, he taught at Peking University and Jinan University. University, Anhui University and other schools.

At that time, the Provincial Anhui University, which was founded five years ago, was facing internal and external troubles, a severe shortage of funds, and school affairs were almost at a standstill. In 1912, she went to the Royal Conservatory of Music in Leipzig, Germany, founded by the music master Mendelssohn, majoring in piano, and later received a doctorate in philosophy.
