"Girls' Generation" is a nine-member girl group launched by South Korea's S.M Entertainment in 2007. The members are composed of 9 female high school students aged 10 years. They include Kim Taeyeon, Jung Soo-yeon, Lee Soon-kyu, Hwang Mi-young, Kim Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi Soo-young, Lim Yoona, and Seo Joo-hyun. The first single "The World Reunion" was released in South Korea on August 2, 2007, and officially debuted on August 5. The management company is Star Museum Entertainment (S.M Entertainment) in South Korea and Universal Music Group (Universal Music Group) in Japan.
