Guo Gan, also known as Guo Yizhen, is male and his ancestral home is Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. Born in Shenyang on November 15, 1968. A musician studying in France and a member of the French Artists Association, he currently lives in Paris, France.

I have been passionate about art since childhood. I studied Erhu with my father (now Professor Guo Junming, a famous Chinese Erhu performer and educator), and developed a strong interest in painting and Western musical instruments. I studied violin and cello successively. , piano and other musical instruments. Later, he was admitted to Shenyang Conservatory of Music with excellent results, majoring in erhu and percussion performance.
