2. Shenyang Conservatory of Music is the only higher music and art college with a long history and glorious tradition in Northeast China.

As of 2013, the college has four undergraduate teaching campuses: the main campus, the South Campus, the Taoxian Campus, and the Dalian Campus, as well as the Affiliated Middle School Music School and the Affiliated Middle School Dance School. On the basis of the traditional majors in music performance, musicology, composition and composition technology theory, dance performance, dance studies, and dance choreography, majors such as performance, radio and television choreography, and broadcasting and hosting arts have also been opened.
