Basic steps for modeling

The basic steps of a model focus on the feet, legs, hips, abdomen and arms. The following are the key steps of the model's basic steps:

1. Feet

The foothold should be moderate, not completely on the heel, nor the heel and toes touching the ground at the same time. It is recommended to land with your heels facing forward. You need to move quickly from heel to toe, and wait until your foot is completely stable before the other foot can come out.

When walking, the body is pushed out, not walked out. When moving, the toes should always be pointed directly in front of the body. The feet should not be adducted. Generally, the legs should not be bent but should be kept straight.

2. Legs

It is best to have a smaller gap between the legs when walking, or even no gap. This will make you appear slender and straight. If the gap is too large, the center of gravity of the thigh will move to both sides. It leans left and right, sways left and right, and lacks the basic essentials of a man's stability.

When the foot kicks out, the knee is used to find the music, which means that the knee is on the beat of the center of gravity, and the foot lands immediately. When kicking out, it is recommended to go faster.

3. Crotch

Female models use their hips to find music, but male models cannot move their hips. Most of the time they move their hips when they kick out their legs. The force of the hips and legs is not the same. It is caused by a flat surface. Do not use your thighs to touch your knees for the sake of knee friction.

4. Abdomen

Don’t forget to keep your abdomen in check when walking. Some male models' heads and upper body sway as a whole when they walk, which is most likely caused by their lack of abdominal control or too soft waist. It is recommended to do more waist training.

5. Arm

Use the big arm to drive the small arm. The big arm drives the forearm because the triceps brachii is exerting force, and it naturally swings a little lower behind the body. The rear swing arm should be large and the front swing arm should be small. The speed of the rear swing arm is slower than that of the front swing arm.

When swinging the front arm, the big and small arms cannot use force, and the rear swing arm will naturally bounce forward. When it reaches a certain angle of the front swing arm, the wrist hits the accent. The pursuit of arm swing is natural and powerful.
