Huang Yang, born on February 14, 1983 in Xuancheng, Anhui Province, graduated from the 2002 Drama Department of the People's Liberation Army Art Academy and is an actress in Mainland China.

In 2004, Huang Yang won the Outstanding Performance Award in the 11th National Top 100 Sketch Competition of the China Cao Yu Drama Award for his sketch "Security". In 2009, he starred in the sketch "Beijing Welcomes You" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. In the same year, he starred in the sitcom "Osmanthus Job". In 2011, he participated in the comedy movie "The Journey". On January 22, 2012, he starred in the sketch "Today's Happiness" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

Early experience

Huang Yang entered Xuancheng Youth Home to learn dance in the first grade of elementary school. He attended Xuancheng Middle School in junior high school and began to study music. In 1997, after graduating from Xuancheng Middle School, he was admitted to Anhui Art Institute and served as a representative of the physical education class while in school. When he graduated in 1999, he became the only student from the Provincial Art School admitted to the People's Liberation Army Bengbu Automobile Management College. In 2002, Huang Yang was admitted to the Theater Performance Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Art Academy as a non-commissioned officer.
