Little Mary is a good girl. She started school last year and is now in grade 2. Her home is not far from school, but she is often late because she likes to watch TV, listen to music at night, and stay up late at night. So she couldn't get up on time in the morning.
In this study, Mary's uncle, Mr. White, works at her school and teaches 2nd grade history. He was very strict with his students, and Mary was no exception. He often told Mary to abide by school rules and regulations and to come to school on time.
Mary got up late again today. It was already 8:15 when she arrived at school. His uncle had already been waiting for her at the school gate. "You were already 10 minutes late for the first class. Why are you always late for class?" Mr. White said angrily.
"Every time I go to the corner of the street, I always see a sign. It says there is a school ahead, please go slowly," Mary said.
