Although he was born in Italy, he spent most of his life in England. He discovered his talent for music very early, and was sent to receive music education at the age of seven. Two years later, he got the position of organ player. Later, a rich Englishman appreciated him and helped him to receive further education in the Conservatory of Music in London, England. In 1766, he went to Dorset, England to study the classical piano. In 177, he held his first piano concert, which won the audience's love. This can be said to be the beginning of his success as a piano player. Soon, he quickly became a famous pianist. Moved to London in 1774 and became the conductor of the King's Theatre.
from 178 to 1985, kleiman traveled all over Europe as a pianist, and visited German and French places. On the Christmas Eve of December 24th, 1781, at the invitation of Josef II, the Austrian Emperor, he played and had a competition with Mozart to entertain the Austrian Emperor and his guests. These two great musicians were asked to improvise and play their own works. kleiman thought he would win, and kleiman from England was regarded as the opponent of "challenging the first master in Europe". And according to Mozart's good friend Johann Ladislav DUSSEK and Austrian Emperor Joseph II's conversation record, they don't know who is better than who. In this competition, Joseph II, the Austrian Emperor, was the judge, who was an out-and-out Mozart fan, so Mozart won the championship of this competition. At that time, Legato was widely used in kleiman, and this way of playing was different from Mozart, who followed the predecessors' "Legato was only used where it was indicated" and became the mainstream of keyboard playing later. Everyone knows that Mozart is talented and arrogant, and he often makes fun of his defeated opponents without mercy, but he doesn't seem to laugh after this game; I wrote several letters to my sister and said: kleiman has nothing but some skills! Some people think Mozart is sour grape psychology; It's hard to say, but in any case, Mozart also felt the threat from kleiman's first playing skills, which is beyond doubt. He lived in England for twenty years after 1782, engaged in piano playing, music creation and teaching. He also started the piano manufacturing industry, but unfortunately, his factory was destroyed by a fire in 187. After 181, he stopped all performances and spent all his time composing and piano manufacturing. He was also the first musician to distinguish modern pianos from ancient pianos. He died on March 1th, 1832 and was buried in Westminster Abbey.
