Sean Song, male, Han nationality. Born in October 1918, Hanchuan City, Hubei Province, party member. In 1938, he joined the anti-Japanese literature and art work, in 1944, he joined the anti-Japanese drama team, in 1949, he was the head of Changsha Workers' Cultural Art Troupe, in 1954, he was the director of Hunan Music Studio and the chairman of Hunan Musicians' Association, in 1955, he was the head of the editorial department of Song of China Music Association, the deputy editor-in-chief of the fourth China Music Association, and in 1974, he was the head of the songwriting group of China Music Research Institute.

He is mainly engaged in song creation and music theory research, and has composed songs such as Reading Lang, Miao Family in bad karma, People's Sun and so on.
