The two members of the Aurora group are both from Henan Direct Radio and TV University. They have been good brothers sleeping in bunk beds during college. Moreover, due to the same pursuit and like-minded interests in music, they eventually became an outstanding creative singing group. Tian Hua, who belongs to the sign of Cancer, prefers the bleakness and silence of winter, so every winter becomes the peak period of his creation, and his works also appear melancholy and simple because of their realistic color; Du, who belongs to the sign of Pisces, Lei prefers the gentleness of spring and the highness of autumn. His works naturally possess an idealistic positivity and broad-mindedness. It is precisely because of this difference in personality and hobbies that their music and singing have a close and tacit understanding formed after complementing each other.

After the Aurora Group was established, they formed a rock band, the Empty House Band, with two other buddies in the same dormitory, and devoted themselves to the exploration and promotion of original music. With a series of performances and award-winning competitions, as well as tireless original music concerts one after another, they set off an original music storm in the local area. They and their band quickly became the most popular local combination and band, and they also had a large number of loyal fans and followers in the local area. Their folk songs such as "Ten Years", "Little River" and "Embracing Winter" and rock songs such as "God's Friend", "Let's Fly" and "Westward" are widely sung on local campuses.

The most similar thing between the two members of the Aurora group is that they both have two extremes - if they want to be quiet, they will be so quiet that you can hold your breath to feel them; if they want to be crazy, they will be so crazy that you will be stunned and stunned. It’s hard to suppress the desire to go crazy with them. That's why they send audiences into raptures when they perform concerts of their own original music. They couldn't believe that a person could turn from an extremely quiet folk singer into an extremely crazy rock maniac in an instant.

Just when Aurora was becoming famous in their hometown in Henan for their outstanding performance in folk songs and rock, Dadi Records invited them to participate in the Train Campus Tour Beijing University Tour. Their performance was held on campus in Beijing A blue wind blew through. Shortly after the tour, Aurora successfully signed a contract as a singer under Dadi Records and began preparations for the recording of "2002 Campus Ballad".
