The Vienna Private Conservatory of Music, the Vienna Conservatory (Vienna Conservatory), was founded in 1979. It was originally a music school co-founded by Mag. Eva Maria Schmid and Mag. Josef ?Schmid***. The school was recognized by the Austrian Ministry of Culture and Education in the 1992-93 academic year and was upgraded to a private music school.

The Conservatory of Music is approved by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and has public education qualifications. The degree certificates and results issued are equally valid as certificates from national universities. The certificates are recognized not only in Europe, the United States, Asia, but also in other countries around the world. Arts degrees qualify you for employment in symphony orchestras, drama orchestras and opera houses. Graduates can also work as concert soloists, soloists, vocalists, or teach in conservatories, colleges and music schools; similarly , art degrees and teacher training degrees qualify you to found and lead music schools and conservatories.

Academic length of study: ranging from 2 to 5 years, depending on the major studied and the degree to be achieved. The Vienna Conservatory of Music can issue degree certificates recognized by the country.
