The composer of "Swan Lake" is Tchaikovsky. "Swan Lake" tells the story of Princess Odette who was turned into a white swan by the devil on the banks of Swan Lake. Prince Siegfried visited Swan Lake and fell deeply in love with Odette. On the night when the prince chooses his bride, the devil lets his daughter Black Swan disguise herself as Odette to deceive the prince. The prince was almost deceived, but finally found out in time, fought the demon, and killed it. The white swan regains her true form as a princess and marries the prince, achieving a happy ending.
After the death of Tchaikovsky, the famous dance choreographer Petipa initiated a commemoration of the recently deceased composer, and personally made the outline of the dance drama, designed by Ivanov, in Malin in February 1894 The Ski Theater performed the second act, and in 1895 performed the entire dance drama, which was a success, especially the second act.
Scene 1 of the ballet "Swan Lake"
In the garden in front of the Queen's castle. A group of young men and women sang and danced to their heart's content on the grass: the dance of the court jester, the dance of the girls and the boys alternated. The queen told her son, Prince Siegfried, that he must choose a bride among the girls coming to attend the festival tomorrow, but he was not interested in what his mother said.
At dusk, the prince was left alone, daydreaming about the girl he might fall in love with. Friends invited him to go hunting with them at night. A group of swans attracted him, so he followed the beautiful swans into the depths of the forest.
On the lakeside at night, the evil god Rothbart haunts the ruins of the gloomy castle. A group of beautiful girls turned into swans slowly swam in the lake, and then they came to the shore and danced a beautiful circle dance. Siegfried is deeply attracted to Odette among them. She told the prince how Rotbart cast a spell on them and turned them into swans. This story deeply moved the prince. Evil spells can only be broken by selfless love. Before dawn, the girls turned into swans again and swam to the lake.
