1685-175), one of the greatest German composers, was born in a musical family in Eisenach. Since the age of eighteen, he has served as a musician and organist in many churches and palaces. Bach was only famous as an organ player before his death, and it was nearly a hundred years after his death that his creation got due respect. He believed deeply in religion, and regarded many hymns of Lutheran Protestantism and church musical instruments and organs as the core of his creative materials and musical ideas. However, he was deeply influenced by bourgeois enlightenment, which made his religious works obviously break through the norms of church music, with rich secular feelings and bold innovative spirit. His creation is mainly polyphony, with strict conception, inner feelings, rich in philosophy and logic, and on the basis of German folk music, it is the pinnacle of Baroque music development, which integrates the music of Netherlands, Italy and France since the 16th century. Bach's works have had a profound influence on the development of modern European music, pointed out a broad prospect for the progress and development of all human music, and set up a monument for world classical music. Therefore, Bach is called "the father of western music".
Bach's works in his life are numerous, including more than 2 religious and secular cantatas, Passion of Ruo Cadre's religion, Mass in B minor, Piano Music Collection of Equal Rhythm, Creative Music Collection, Piano Suite, Sonata without accompaniment for violin and cello, and Brandenburg Concerto.
