1. Abao, formerly known as Zhang Shaochun, was born on February 27, 1969 in Datong City, Shanxi Province. He is a male singer in Mainland China.

2. In 2004, he participated in the CCTV "Western Folk Song Competition" and won the bronze medal, thus officially entering the entertainment industry. In 2005, he released his first personal music album "Abao"; in the same year, he won the championship in the annual finals of CCTV's "Avenue of Stars".
